Modern Farmhouse Style with Palazzo Porcelain Tile
By Bedrosians Tile & Stone | 11/26/2019
If you’re looking to design a modern farmhouse home, try mixing these three key ingredients: contemporary decor, rustic elements, and industrial-inspired accents. When you blend these together in the right amounts, you end up with a home that’s warm, inviting, and ready for today’s busy families. When selecting tile for your floor, accent walls or backsplash, we suggest our Palazzo porcelain tile collection. It is the perfect blend of current design colors with a weathered, vintage look. Any of the options in Palazzo will instantly add the rustic charm of a countryside villa to your modern home!

The Power Within Palazzo
This American-made porcelain tile collection provides a multi-faceted dynamic of old-world charm and modern beauty with three antiqued shades of Vintage Grey, Castle Graphite and Antique Cotto. The most powerful, yet elegant element of this series is its four unique decorative tiles, made of geometric shapes and leafy floral designs.
The solid colors are offered in 12"x12 and 12"x24". The decos come in 12"x12" and a unique 12"x24" tile with a condensed version of the design with faux grout lines that divide the tile into smaller 6"x6" sections. The series is complete with 2"x2" mosaics, a 3"x12" bullnose trim piece and 6"x12" cove base.
Setting the Farmhouse Mood
Farmhouse decorating is warm, cozy, relaxing, and full of charm and character. It eschews modern sensibilities and goes back to a simpler time. That said, farmhouse style is surprisingly savvy. To keep a farmhouse from looking too "country kitsch" there needs to be a balance of old and new. It should be clean, stylish and warmhearted. And most importantly it needs to be in tune with nature — but not full of dried flowers and rooster paraphernalia. (source: The Spruce)
Florentina is an Italian word that means "flowering" or "in bloom." The Florentina Deco brings a soft, floral feel to any space. When you put all the pieces together, you create a porcelain flower garden for your home.
The Bloom Deco creates a tiny flower and connects a fine line when tiled all together. It's a feminine and soft appearance perfect for a kitchen or bathroom.

The Dynasty Deco also combines fine lines and a simple flower that when placed together creates a diamond and floral octagon appearance.
The Villa Deco lets you create stripes, pinwheels, triangles and diamonds. It brings a modern geometric flair to your spaces. This style feels a little less farmhouse than the other patterns, but still delivers the weathered and worn feel.
