Two Design Experts Pick Their Tile Faves

When we recently launched our six new stone mosaic collections, we couldn’t decide which one we loved most. That’s because they’re all super stylish in their own unique ways. So rather than get into a heated debate here at Bedrosians, we asked Apartment Therapy for a little help.
The result was to collaborate with two top designers to pick the stone mosaic tile they’d want for the rooms of their dreams. But we didn’t stop there: we’re also giving one lucky fan a chance to win $1,000 of Bedrosians stone mosaic tile, plus a one-hour consult with a design pro! Our first design expert, Audrey Sprinkle, is known for her bold, eclectic style. In planning out her retro-inspired kitchen, she knew right away which stone mosaic tiles spoke to her. “I was immediately drawn to the Monet tile because its shape and color reminded me of a Swiss Cross, which I love for its simplicity and boldness,” Audrey says. Using a combination of Monet in nero marquina and white carrara for the floor gave her that classic chef’s kitchen look, while choosing oriental white squares for the backsplash completed the vintage vibe.
Meg Leonard, our second designer, takes more modern, minimalist approach to creating affordable spaces with a high-end feel. So, when dreaming up her dream bathroom, she selected our marble blend Celeste tile in white carrara and bardiglio for flooring, complemented with Monet in oriental white on the walls. Of the Celeste Collection, she gushed, “Each colorway is stunning in this design, making it flexible to any space or style.” We couldn’t agree more.
Partnering with Apartment Therapy, Audrey and Meg gave us even more reasons to love our six new stone mosaic collections. But we’re not much closer to figuring out which one we love most: Monet, Celeste, Modni, Atrium, Matisse and Solis are all stunning in their own right.
